The Precor AMT 885 P84 Adaptive Motion Trainer is Precor’s variable-stride commercial cardio machine fitted with the P84 16-inch touchscreen console and Smart Watch Connector. Its stride length adapts dynamically from 0 to 36 inches as the user moves, and Open Stride technology adds five levels of stride-height adjustment from 6.8 to 10 inches – per Precor, the only variable-stride cardio equipment with adjustable step height.

One machine covers walking, jogging, running, stepping, and climbing motion paths, which makes the AMT a floor-space maximizer for facilities. Tapered moving handlebars engage the upper body for total-body work, stationary grips carry built-in heart-rate sensors, and tactile motion controls adjust resistance and stride height mid-workout across 20 resistance levels and 8 preloaded workouts.

The P84 console pairs a 16-inch capacitive touchscreen (1920 x 1080) with built-in Netflix, YouTube, and Pluto TV apps, plus PrecorCast wireless casting that automatically clears each user’s session data when the workout ends. Wireless phone charging, an audio jack, Bluetooth headphone pairing, and Wi-Fi connectivity are all standard. The Smart Watch Connector lets exercisers tap an Apple Watch or Samsung Galaxy Watch to the console to sync heart rate, distance, speed, and calories in real time. The interface supports 22 languages.
