The Precor AMT 835 adaptive motion trainer is four cardio machines in one: it adapts instantly to your movement, letting you climb, walk, jog, or run long strides without touching a single control. Add Open Stride™ — adjustable stride height from 6.8 to 10 inches (17–25 cm) and stride length from 0 to 36 inches (0–91 cm) — and the AMT 835 fits virtually every exerciser and training style with one low-impact machine.
This is the same commercial Adaptive Motion Trainer found in fitness clubs worldwide, built to Precor’s Experience™ Series standard. The current AMT 800 line offers three models — the AMT 835 with the P31 LED console, the AMT 865 with the P62 touchscreen, and the AMT 885 with the P82 or P84 touchscreen — all in a Black Pearl frame. The AMT 835 is self-powered, so it needs no dedicated outlet.

Open Stride™ lets exercisers adjust stride height from 6.8 to 10 inches (17 to 25 cm) and change stride length at will from zero to 36 inches (0 to 91 cm), providing an infinite range of stride paths that engage different muscle groups in a single session.
