The Stages SC2 indoor cycling bike is the rhythm-studio standard, chosen by leading boutique studios worldwide and distributed in the US through Precor. Its Gates Carbon Drive CarbonGlyde belt and magnetic eddy-current resistance produce a near-silent ride with no chain, no brake pads, and no lubrication to maintain, while the SprintShift three-stage lever lets riders jump resistance instantly for HIIT and interval classes.

Stages’ signature RoadBar handlebars borrow road bike geometry for a natural, performance-oriented position that still supports rhythm-class choreography, and the StagesFit adjustment system makes seat and handlebar changes quick between riders. The 6061T-6 aluminum alloy frame wears a Slate Grey industrial powder coat, the perimeter-weighted cast iron flywheel supplies road-like inertia through a 5:1 gear ratio, and dual-sided SPD pedals with toe cages suit both cleats and sneakers. Riders from 4’10” to 6’10” and up to 350 lb fit comfortably.

Console and Power Options

The SC2 ships console-free by design – ideal for instructor-led rhythm studios. It accepts the optional crank-based Stages Power meter and the battery-powered Stages SIC1 console for riders who want power (watts), cadence, and ride data, broadcast over Bluetooth and ANT+.
