The Stages SC3 indoor cycle is the performance benchmark of the Stages SC Series, distributed in the US through Precor. It ships with the crank-based Stages Power meter – accurate to +/- 1.5% and built on the same technology used by elite cycling teams – and the self-powered SIC2 console, so riders get real power, cadence, and heart rate data with no batteries or wall outlet required.

The drivetrain pairs a Gates Carbon Drive CarbonGlyde carbon fiber belt with magnetic eddy-current braking for a smooth, silent ride that needs no chain, pads, or lubrication. The SprintShift three-stage lever handles instant resistance jumps for HIIT classes while the micro-adjust dial fine-tunes effort, and the FitLoc system locks in seat and handlebar positions up to five times faster than twist-lock collars. A lightweight 6061T-6 aluminum alloy frame in Slate Grey, a perimeter-weighted cast iron flywheel at a 5:1 gear ratio, and dual-sided SPD pedals with toe cages complete the package for riders 4’10” to 6’10” and up to 350 lb.

SIC2 Console

The SIC2 console runs entirely on rider-generated power and shows current and average values for power (watts and kilojoules), cadence, speed, heart rate with a compatible strap, distance, calories, and time. A dedicated stage button segments rides into tracked intervals, and Bluetooth plus ANT+ connectivity sends data to iOS and Android apps, fitness trackers, and group display systems.

Under the Precor-published Stages Cycling warranty, the SC3 is covered for 15 years on the frame, 10 years on the belt, 3 years on mechanical systems, 1 year on labor/electronics, and 6 months on wear items.
